Where am I (physically + mentally)?
Over the hump! Only wo more nights between me and home.
What am I striving toward, and how’s that going?
Day 2 and not a carb in sight. Ran 2k on the treadmill and trained back this evening afterwork. Picking up momentum.
What’s working and what’s not?
I’m not sure if I am doing this journaling right? it feels a bit repetitive so I might play around with some new headings / prompts to keep the exercise useful.
4. What challenged me today (and how did I respond)?
Fault finding on a panel. Every time I operated the circuit breaker the DC power supply cut out. A short circuit I assumed? Couldn’t find anything after spending a decent amount of time looking. Then my colleague suggested moving the power supply away from the panel in case it was the vibrations affecting the power supply and not actually a fault with the CB. I thought it was unlikely but I listened and it turns out, he was spot on.
What did I learn or notice today?
Other than DC power supplies are susceptible to vibrations, its been a slow day.
What am I grateful for right now?
A bed to sleep in. And a warm room, and the promise of a hot breakfast prepared by someone else in the morning before I head off to work.
What’s one thing I can do tomorrow to move forward?
I need to catch up with my work admin / job reports.
